Fabulous location, there are 2 entrances, the main entrance is on The Terrace and then there's another entrance on Lambton Quay which is the main shopping street.

The Terrace is right off the freeway that goes around Wellington, the hotel is very easy to find. The Wellington cablecar is about 5 minutes away on foot from the hotel, there's also a supermarket next to the cable car station, the waterfront is within easy walking distance, a bit further away but still walkable is the War Memorial and museum.
Facilities
The hotel rooms have a kitchenette with all the necessary equipment for anyone wanting to prepare their own meals. There's also a restaurant at the front of the hotel that offers room service dinners. The hotel has parking, for a price, it's a bit steep at $25 a day. It also offers free wifi but it's capped at 1GB for 24 hours, not that unusual for New Zealand hotels but still annoying when used to unlimited free wifi.

A pleasant hotel to stay in, the location was fantastic and having a kitchenette meant that not every meal had to be eaten out.
