Royal Tiaras

My collection so far (that I've seen, not own!) The Scroll tiara, worn by Kate Middleton on her wedding day. I kept getting tiara youtube videos recommended to me and then realised I've seen quite a few of the recommendations in real life. So as I like putting together collections, here are the ones I've seen. Cartier Exhibition, National Gallery of Australia The National Gallery of Australia held a Cartier exhibition in 2018. I travelled to Canberra and was able to see this exhibition, on display were some tiaras as well as other jewels and Cartier objects. What made this exhibition special was that the items on display were not just those owned by Cartier but also loaned to Cartier for the exhibition, including jewels owned by Queen Elizabeth II. Once such item was the Scroll tiara, ( the Halo Cartier tiara) which the Queen loaned to Kate Middleton on her wedding day. Where to stay: Pullman G Bangkok

Nice hotel in a good location Price Mid range price and good value for money Location Very good location, just off the freeway from the airport so it removes much of the moving through crowded Bangkok traffic. A five minute walk from the Skytrain (BST) station of Chong nonsi, which makes it easy to travel around Bangkok. Can also walk down to the river in about 20 minutes to the Sathorn Pier to travel along the river. Plenty of restaurants and street food vendors in the area. Fort Cornwallis George Town Malaysia

Heritage fort in UNESCO town George Town on the island of Penang was established as a trading port in 1786. Fort Cornwallis marks the spot where Captain Francis Light and his crew from the British East India company landed on the 17th of July 1786. The original fort was a wooden one, work began to replace it with bricks in 1793 and it was given a major upgrade in 1804 to what can be seen now. Throughout its history the fort never engaged in any battle even when the Japanese took control of Penang during World War II. The fort is named for the Governor General of Bengal at the time, Charles Marquis Cornwallis. Fort Cornwallis was built as a star shaped fort so it could be easily defended from all sides.
